Six years ago Mark Thompson began the night watch for Tanya and Michael Price's son, Charlie, on May 21st, the night of his Bone Marrow Transplant. It inspired many and gave the family much needed strength on that night. We have continued that tradition to try to give some strength to the kiddos and families fighting up in the Children's hospital.

We use this event to raise funds for the Children's hospital. 100% of these generous donations go to the kids in the hospital. We donate our total mileage in dollars for the night to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. If you choose to join, we encourage a similar donation, or you can sponsor and match the mileage amount of another runner. If you can't attend you can still give if you wish to do so.
