About

Brian Krogh was diagnosed with Stage IV clear cell renal cell carcinoma on May 24, 2024. Throughout his cancer journey, Brian underwent multiple treatment regimens, including two different combinations of immunotherapy and targeted therapy, radiation, and several procedures in the fight against this disease. He believed deeply in the power of clinical trials and research and was actively involved in innovative treatment efforts at the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Brian passed away on May 9, 2025. In his memory, the Krogh family remains committed to advancing kidney cancer research and raising awareness in his honor.

This fund was created to support research for patients whose kidney cancer does not respond to standard-of-care treatments, including currently available immune and targeted therapies. Every donation helps fuel critical research at the University of Iowa to develop better treatments and new hope for those facing kidney cancer. Through this fund, Brian’s legacy will live on in the fight for answers, progress, and a future where more families have hope.
