The Math Graduate Board (MGB) exists to provide a forum for departmental discourse, to organize departmental events, and to generally enrich the graduate mathematics experience at the University of Iowa. It is an official university student organization established and led entirely by math graduate students.
We are raising funds to assist math graduate students with the costs of traveling to math conferences. At these conferences, our graduate students are presenting their research, networking with other university’s graduate students and professors, and discovering what new advancements are being made in mathematics. By attending these conferences, our graduate students have an amazing opportunity to promote themselves for future jobs and start new research projects with people from other universities. Your contributions will help us lower the financial burden of math graduate students attending conferences and as a result, help our graduate students grow as researchers and professionals.
Thank you for your consideration!
