Support the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice

Since 1996 the University of Iowa College of Law's Journal of Gender, Race & Justice has provided students, authors, academics and the legal community with a platform to showcase issues of Gender, Race and its intersectionalities. Iowa Law is unique because the journals are managed by students. Thus, our Journal serves as a professional experience whereby our Editorial Board selects articles, works alongside scholars, mentors up-and-coming student writers, and works with a publishing house to successfully publish its legal issues.

As the Journal grows, we consider new avenues to expand our readership and access to past issues and volumes. In pursuit of that goal, it is time to modernize the Journal by taking the publication online and redeveloping its website. The new website will expand our outreach to an even larger audience. The Journal will not be a gatekeeper of information. Our hope is to launch the new website in late Spring.

Every three years the Journal hosts a symposium that tests, shapes and strengthens our scholarship by bringing a myriad of experiences into the realm of legal thought. Your gift will also support our 2020 Symposium scheduled for October 8 & 9, which will showcase intersectional issues in topics like forced climate migration.

These exciting steps, however, will not be possible without your help. Please give today to secure JGRJ’s future and the important work we are doing.

Thank you!
