Offer a ChallengeThe Hawkeye Sparkles is an all-inclusive spirit squad designed to provide an opportunity for students with and without disabilities to come together on equal footing. Students with disabilities practice alongside peer-mentors in the areas of dance and cheerleading and perform at events on campus and throughout the Iowa City community. You might find us cheering on different sporting teams, like the Iowa Softball team, or performing at Hawkeye Days, Iowa Shout!, and Dance Marathon’s Big Event!
For the 2023-2024 season, our team has added over 20 new members! Due to this large addition, we are in need of more jerseys for those who do not have one. By having everyone in the same attire, it would really help promote the all-inclusive environment we strive for. With your help, we hope to use the funds to buy more jerseys, and hopefully be able to get more merchandise such as bags, bows, and t-shirts! Thank you for supporting our team! Go Hawks!
